merican Hi-Fi第二張專輯。如果是上張專輯中‘Flavour of the week’的忠實聽眾，那你會很容易發現這張新專輯中有很多繼承它的東西，標題曲‘The art of losing’帶有濃烈龐克節奏和曲調的感覺，而‘The break-up song’則同Blink-182的‘First date’有相呼應般的趣味，強烈的吉他和尖銳的唱腔很像那種典型的為電台所精心準備的能一呼即應的曲子。其他像Save Me，This is the sound又有向Jackson Browne和Undertones致意的感覺。

專輯比上張更顯出一種年輕的態度，整體保持一種快節奏，高噪音，在很多人看來，AHF真的成了Flavour of the week。
